Landlord from heaven

If it wasn’t for my landlord I don’t know where me and my 7 children would be right now.

I got laid off 4 months ago from a store in the mall

because they had to close down during the many back to back lockdown’s

so the owners said that they had to let the business go because

they wasn’t making any money anymore

But still was paying rent to the mall.

So they gave us a little bit of money and that was it.

I took that little bit of money and put it on multiple bills in my house

and took the rest of the money and brought food for the house.

When rent came up I told the landlord what had just happened to my job

and she
showed sympathy towards me about my job loss

and said that I just have to trust in God in these troublesome time’s

because a lot of people are losing their jobs she said.

then she turned and walked away.

The following month came and I didn’t have the rent

because the little bit of money that NIB gave me was only enough for food for about 2 weeks for my household.

I told her that I didn’t have the money again and she just said did I ask you for any money

I said no and she replied to me then why are you stressing yourself then.

She then said to me I know when you was working that you’ve always paid your rent on time

so I’m not going to stress you out about the rent money

saying to me when you get anything just bring it

but remember you and the kids have to eat.

I haven’t heard this lady ask me for rent money 2 months after that

and she hails me everyday asking me

how are me and the kids doing and telling me about food programs

and even have brought bags of food to my door.

Lord Jesus I thank you for this lady and her divine kindness Lord.

Lord I know that it’s only you that mercy and blessings come through.

I wish that other landlords were like my landlord.

I promised God when ever I get back on my feet

each month I’m going to add $50 to my rent until I’ve paid her back everything.

I’ve been out of work for 6 months now and I have 6 children to feed .

Social services handing out those small ass vouchers that’s not enough

and NIB is playing with my money. I mean like what’s a girl to do?
