Corrections Policy

LOL242 works hard to get every story right. When we get something wrong, we want to know, and we will fix it.

How to report an error

  • Leave a comment on the post, or send a message to the Bahama Drama Facebook Page.
  • Tell us which story (the title or link), what is wrong, and, if you can, where the correct information comes from (an official statement, court record, or published report).
  • If you are a person named in a story and believe it is inaccurate or unfair, say so in your message, and we will review it with priority.

What we do

  • We review every report and check it against reliable sources.
  • If a fact is wrong, we fix it promptly.
  • For any correction that changes the meaning of a story, we add a note at the end of the post that says what was corrected and the date of the correction, for example: “Correction (October 21, 2026): An earlier version of this story gave the wrong island.”
  • Small fixes such as spelling or typos may be made without a note.
  • If a story cannot be supported, we may update it, label it, or take it down.

Updates

When a developing story changes, we add new information as an update with its date, so readers can see what is new.
