PUBLIC MESSAGE TO ALL BAHAMA DRAMA FOLLOWERS

Public message to all Bahama Drama followers

We are taking Bahama Drama to the next level, and we want you to be part of the journey! We have moved our historical post archives from Facebook to our own website, and we have over 6,000 posts waiting for you there! Our entire archive is now easier to access than ever before. Simply enter a year, a name, or a topic into the website’s search bar, and you can find the stories and posts you are looking for without endlessly scrolling through Facebook.

Think about that for a moment. More than 6,000 posts, stories, and pieces of our history, organized in one place where you can search for what you want. Whether you are looking for an old story, a particular name, or something we published years ago, we are making it easier for you to find it.

Let’s be honest about something. For years, we have helped build Facebook’s audience, generate engagement, and keep people coming back to the platform. Yet, because we operate from The Bahamas, we have not had access to the monetization opportunities we need to earn from our work through Facebook’s content monetization programs. We have invested our time, energy, and effort into building Bahama Drama into the platform it is today. We believe it is time to take greater control of our content, our publishing, and our future instead of depending entirely on a social media company that does not offer us the same earning opportunities available in some other countries.

That is why we are building a stronger digital home of our own.

Our website gives us a place to preserve our content, organize our archives, grow our readership, and develop opportunities to support the work we do.

Instead of putting all our eggs in Facebook’s basket, we are building an independent platform that we can continue to develop for years to come.

HERE IS HOW IT WILL WORK GOING FORWARD.

All new Bahama Drama posts will be published on our website FIRST. Four hours later, we will share those posts here on our Facebook page. This means our website will become the first place to find our latest content. If you want to stay ahead and read our stories as soon as they are published, we encourage you to visit the website directly rather than waiting for them to appear on Facebook.

We also encourage you to bookmark our website and make it part of your daily routine. Share it with your friends and family, explore our archives, and use the search bar to discover stories you may have forgotten or never seen before.

OUR FACEBOOK FAMILY IS NOT BEING ABANDONED.

We appreciate every person who has followed, shared, commented on, and supported Bahama Drama over the years. You helped us build this community, and we want you to come with us as we grow.

But we must also think about the future. Social media platforms can change their rules, restrict content, limit reach, or remove pages. Having our own website gives us another place to preserve our work and connect with our readers, regardless of what happens on social media.

Tomorrow, we will be working on designing the website app to make the experience even better for our readers. This is part of a bigger effort to make Bahama Drama more accessible, more organized, and better positioned for the future.

WE HAVE BUILT A COMMUNITY. NOW WE ARE BUILDING OUR OWN DIGITAL HOME.

We have over 6,000 posts waiting for you. We have stories to tell, history to preserve, and much more to accomplish. Don’t just follow Bahama Drama on Facebook. Follow us to our website too! Visit our website, explore the archives, bookmark the page, and share it with others.

Every person who visits helps us grow an audience beyond Facebook and brings us one step closer to building a more independent future for Bahama Drama.

Thank you for being part of this journey. We are moving forward, and we want you right there with us.
