I been holding back from sharing this for the young lady’s sake, but it’s so interesting to see how people move when they caught up.

The way some people just laugh things off like it ain’t serious, then when something happen, it’s “my good child.”

But tell me this if ya good daughter boyfriend find out she been sleeping with a married man, who ain’t worth a damn cause he lay up with her two days after his wife give birth, you think she still making it to the pearly gates?

If the boyfriend find out?

Or worse, if the man’s wife, who apparently a quiet homebody, snap and kill him?

These demons real out here.

I got the messages from the people involved, but I ain’t sending them cause I don’t want nobody get hurt these situations get nasty nowadays.

But hopefully, if this message get shared enough, those people will change they ways or something.

Cause I feel bad for the innocent ones who don’t even know what they partner out here doing behind they back.

Page Reply:

Yeah life is not a joke, and people should be more responsible for their actions as adults; especially in marriage.

The Monitoring Spirit That Followed My Cousin

The Monitoring Spirit That Followed My Cousin

This ain no joke, this a true life story that I see with my own two eyes. My cousin, let’s call him Jason, was a normal fella, always quiet, kept to himself, but things in his life just never seem to go right. Every time he make a step forward, something pull him ten steps back. He try open a little business It fail. He try get married The wedding get cancel. He try move to another island for a fresh start The job offer get snatch last minute.

But the real nightmare start when he begin complaining about strange dreams. He say he would see a dark shadow standing by his bed, never moving, just watching. He wake up feeling drained, like something was sucking the life outta him. He tell me bout this one dream where he see himself lock up in a cage, and outside the cage was a man with black eyes, smiling at him, whispering things he couldn’t understand.

At first, we brush it off as stress. But then weird things start happening in real life. Every time he talk to certain people, especially one woman who always pretending to check on him, he would feel sick after. Headaches, sudden fever, belly cramps. He say she would call him late at night just to see if he okay, but he always feel worse after talking to her.

One night, it get real bad. He wake up screaming, body stiff like a board, eyes roll back in his head. My auntie, a praying woman, knew right away what was going on. She say, that boy being watched. That a monitoring spirit. She call up some prayer warriors, and they come with oil, ready for battle.

The moment they start praying, Jason body start twisting like something inside him fighting back. He let out a scream that wasn’t even his voice. It was deep, dark, almost inhuman. They keep praying, anointing him with oil, rebuking the spirit in Jesus name. Then all of a sudden, he start throwing up. But what come out wasn’t normal. It was thick, black, like tar.

After that night, he say he feel lighter, like something that been holding him down for years finally gone. The strange dreams stop, his mind feel clearer, and doors start opening in his life again. That same woman who used to always check on him She disappear, never message him again.

Jason learn the hard way that some people don’t check on you because they care. Some only watching to see if you rise or fall. Some people are sent. Monitoring spirits don’t just exist in the unseen world. Sometimes, they come in the form of people who pretend to be your friend. Stay prayed up.

Tonight, let this be a warning. Watch who always checking for you. Watch who always in your business. Not everybody mean you well.

Asked yourself this to see if you have a monitoring spirit inside of you as well. You’ve been reading our stories for a while now, but have you ever noticed how you never Liked or followed our Facebook page? SATAN BE GONE! LOL 😂

The Connection Between the Bahamas and African Heritage: Reclaiming Lost Roots

Historical Ties to African Tribes

The Bahamas, like much of the Caribbean, is deeply intertwined with the African diaspora through the transatlantic slave trade. Enslaved Africans were brought to the islands primarily from West and Central Africa. While the Yoruba, Edo (Benin Kingdom), Congo, and Hausa are highlighted, historical records suggest a more complex mosaic of influences:

1. Congo/Angola Region: A significant number of enslaved Africans in the Bahamas originated from the Congo Basin and Angola. Their cultural imprints survive in Bahamian folk music, dance (e.g., ring shout), and oral traditions.

2. Igbo (Bight of Biafra): Many enslaved Igbo people were brought to the Bahamas, contributing to resistance narratives and linguistic influences.

3. Ashanti and Fante (Ghana): The “Coromantee” from the Gold Coast (modern Ghana) also shaped Bahamian culture, particularly in communal practices and proverbs.

4. Yoruba and Edo (Benin Kingdom): While less prominent than in Cuba or Trinidad, subtle influences exist, such as in folktales and spiritual concepts like ancestral reverence.

The Hausa, primarily from present day Nigeria and Niger, had limited documented presence due to their Islamic faith and the focus of slave traders on other regions. However, the diversity of African origins underscores the Bahamas’ pan-African heritage.

Suppression of African Spirituality in the Bahamas
Unlike Cuba (Lucumí/Santería), Trinidad (Shango Baptists), or Brazil (Candomblé), the Bahamas has fewer overt African-derived spiritual practices. Key factors include:

1. Protestant Colonialism: British colonizers imposed strict Protestantism (Anglican, Baptist), which actively suppressed “pagan” practices. Unlike Catholic colonies, which allowed syncretic blending (e.g., Yoruba gods merging with saints), Protestantism fostered a binary view of faith, marginalizing African traditions.

2. Obeah Laws: Anti-Obeah legislation, inherited from British colonial rule, criminalized African spiritual practices, forcing them underground. Similar laws in Jamaica and Barbados also stigmatized traditions like Myal or Vodou, but the Bahamas saw less resurgence post-emancipation.

3. Demographic Shifts: Post-1783 Loyalist migrations brought enslaved people from the U.S. South, who had already undergone cultural erasure, diluting direct African ties. The Bahamas’ smaller plantations and maritime economy also hindered the formation of large, cohesive African communities.

Contrast with the Caribbean: Resilience Elsewhere
Other islands retained stronger African spiritual links due to:

– Catholic Syncretism: In Cuba and Haiti, Yoruba and Fon traditions merged with Catholicism, preserving deities like Shangó (as St. Barbara) or Erzulie (as the Virgin Mary).

– Maroon Resistance: Jamaican Maroons and Haitian revolutionaries safeguarded African practices through isolation and rebellion.

– Festivals and Rituals: Trinidad’s Carnival integrates Orisha worship, while Haiti’s Vodou remains a cornerstone of national identity.

Bahamian Cultural Retentions: Beyond Spirituality
While spirituality was suppressed, African heritage persists in:

– Junkanoo: This vibrant festival, rooted in Igbo and Akan masquerade traditions, features drumming, dance, and elaborate costumes.

– Folk Music and Storytelling: Goombay drumming and Anansi tales reflect Ashanti and Congolese influences.

– Language: Bahamian dialect includes African-derived words and grammatical structures.

Reclaiming African Heritage
Today, Bahamians are increasingly exploring their roots through:

– Academic and Cultural Initiatives: Projects like the Afro-Bahamian Museum and DNA ancestry testing are reviving interest in pre-colonial identities.

– Spiritual Revival: Small communities are reconnecting with Yoruba Ifá, Vodou, and Obeah, despite lingering stigma.

– Education: Advocates push for school curricula to highlight African contributions, countering colonial narratives.

Conclusion
The Bahamas’ African ancestry is undeniable, though its spiritual expressions were fractured by colonialism. By learning from Caribbean neighbors and embracing diasporic dialogues, Bahamians can reclaim their heritage. As global movements affirm Black identity, the Bahamas stands at a crossroads to honor its African past not as a relic, but as a living, evolving legacy.

Speak Up Bahamas

Speak Up Bahamas

I never really gave it much thought until now, sitting in this Fox Hill prison cell, how everything would come crashing down the way it did.

I had it all. Fancy cars, a big house, real estate, and land spread across the Bahamas. There was nothing I couldn’t afford including paying for your head.

Unlike many in my profession, I started small, nickel-and-dime hustles, but I had something most didn’t determination. Once I figured out what made people tick, I knew I’d never be broke again.

It always came down to one thing selfish desires. Once you understood what a person truly wanted, you could use it to control them, bending their choices and behavior to your benefit.

That became my weapon, and in less than three years, I had mastered it.

It got me into college. And not just that I flourished. I was top of my classes, student leadership, president of every organization I ran for.

Then one day, my father looked at me and said, “Boy, you should get into politics. You’d make a great leader.” I wasn’t interested at first. But then he said the words that changed everything “It’s the ultimate power over people. You’d be at the top, son.”

And that was all I needed to hear.

The hunger for power was always first in my mind. And yeah, I had to destroy a lot of people to get it. But after a while, it became second nature, like riding a bike.

So I studied the political parties, their supporters, their speeches. I found the formula to make them *want* me in power.

I joined a youth political group, and like clockwork, people flocked to me just like in high school, just like in college. It didn’t even matter that I never graduated. I had just enough credits to look educated, and in politics, perception is everything.

A few years later, I became an official party member. And from there, I kept winning. Every position I ran for, I took down the competition using the same tactics, just more ruthless than before.

You could say I crippled them in ways they never saw coming. I went straight for the jugular.

I had my loyal people dig into my rivals their families, their secrets, everything that could make them unelectable. And once I had what I needed, I leaked it through the right channels. One by one, they fell.

Then came my moment. After years of playing the game, I was selected as a candidate in Nassau. And when election night came? I won by a landslide.

By then, I was already a millionaire, stacking government contracts, collecting kickbacks, playing the system like a grandmaster.

I was the man. But trust me, it came at a price millions of dollars and plenty of dead bodies.

I committed my first kill at 19. It was fast. Clean. I lured him to an empty lot near some bushes, and that’s where he stayed.

He was a friend turned enemy. Folded against me on something I needed to win in the party. And I couldn’t have that. He had to go or he’d keep voting against my shit.

I chopped him up right there in that field. Blood everywhere. But I didn’t panic. I had been planning it for months.

I guess you could say I early retired him.

Over the years, especially during election season, I ordered multiple hits. I had the right connections street gangs, hitmen. No matter where you were in the Bahamas, you weren’t far enough to escape my reach.

But then I got sloppy. Started using my personal phone for calls, thinking I was untouchable. Telegram, WhatsApp always safe before, so I thought nothing of it.

Then one morning, I heard the knock.

DEA. Local forces. Warrant in hand. Talking extradition to the U.S. if I didn’t play ball.

And well you already know how that story ends.

So let this be a cautionary tale for every politician in the Bahamas.

America is always listening.

And at this point? I can’t even argue.

Why They Started Taking Out the Organs of the Dead

Why They Started Taking Out the Organs of the Dead

The Secret War Against Resurrection

For thousands of years, humanity has known a terrible and wondrous truth death is not always final. Before the world became rigid with rules, before science and faith became enemies, there was a time when the dead did not always stay dead.

This knowledge was buried, erased, rewritten. But the ancient ones knew. The Egyptians knew. The Catholic Church knew. And so, the war against resurrection began.

The Egyptian Monopoly on Resurrection

Long before Rome, before Christ, before the first papal decree, the Pharaohs ruled not just the land of the living but the mysteries of death itself. The Nile carried more than just water it carried secrets. The priests of Egypt were not only caretakers of the soul but also gatekeepers of the afterlife.

There was a time when it was common for the recently deceased to wake, coughing, confused, wandering back to their homes as if nothing had happened. Families rejoiced, but the priests trembled. This was not divine. This was not controlled. If the common man could return from the grave, what power did the Pharaoh hold over life and death?

So they devised a ritual, one that would ensure only the chosen could return. They removed the organs, cutting into the flesh of the dead, making sure the body could no longer hold the sacred essence of life. The commoners were mutilated in death, their spirits forever severed from their vessels. But the Pharaohs? Their bodies were kept whole in secret tombs, their hearts untouched, their lungs still intact. They would rise again when the gods willed it, their monopoly on resurrection secured.

And for centuries, this secret held.

The Catholic Church and the War on the Undying

But Egypt fell. Empires rose and crumbled. The knowledge was scattered, buried, forgotten until it began again.

The early Church fathers whispered of strange happenings. In the monasteries of Rome, in the mountains of France, in the hidden places of the world, the dead were waking once more. Not as rotting corpses, not as soulless demons, but as if they had never died at all.

A monk in Spain, laid to rest after an illness, was found sitting in the gardens a week later, reading his scriptures. A nobleman in France was mourned for three days, only to knock upon his own door at dawn, confused as to why his servants wept. The second Pope, Linus, was brought a case from Egypt itself an embalmer who had seen a man rise on the seventh day, the cuts in his flesh sealing as if time itself reversed.

The Church panicked. This was not the Resurrection of Christ. This was something else. Something natural, something uncontrollable. And if the people knew that death was not always final, what would become of salvation?

Would men still fear Hell if they could simply wake again?

So the decree was made.

“All bodies of the dead, no matter their station, shall be opened. Their organs removed, their insides emptied, so that the soul may not linger in the flesh. For resurrection belongs to Christ alone.”

The order spread like wildfire. Every monastery, every church, every village under Rome’s rule began to practice the removal of organs. The embalming process became sacred, not to preserve, but to ensure that no one no one would return.

The Forgotten Ones: Haiti’s Secret Keepers

But not all obeyed. In the hidden corners of the world, there were those who still carried the old knowledge.

And nowhere is this knowledge more alive than in Haiti.

In the remote villages of the mountains, in the thick jungle where the spirits walk, there are still stories whispered by candlelight stories of the ones who wake.

Even now, in certain parts of Haiti, there are those who do not stay dead. The elders know the signs. The body that does not stiffen. The skin that stays warm for days. The strange stillness in the house where the dead have been laid.

There are families who do not mourn until a week has passed, waiting in quiet fear to see if their loved one will sit up, open their eyes, and speak.

Some call it a gift. Others, a curse.

The Church still tries to keep its grip. Embalmers work swiftly, cutting out the organs, making sure the flesh is hollowed before the spirit can return.

But in Haiti, some refuse. Some let the dead rest whole, untouched, waiting to see if the body will call the soul back.

And sometimes, just sometimes, it does.

The war against resurrection never ended. It simply went underground.

And so, the dead remain dead.

Or so we believe.
