Our Love and Prayers for Lola Doll

September 10, 2025 | 2:10 PM

The Caribbean is in shock and sorrow today as news spreads that beloved artist and influencer Lola Doll remains in critical condition after being brutally shot outside her home in Georgetown, Guyana.

Reports confirm that Lola suffered serious wounds to her neck, face, hands, and leg, but despite the severity, she is still fighting for her life. Doctors are working around the clock, and her family is by her side, clinging to faith and hope.

This tragedy has left not only her family in anguish, but also her tens of thousands of followers, friends, and fans who adore her spirit, her artistry, and her boldness. Lola has been a bright light in the Caribbean entertainment world, and now that light is in danger of being dimmed too soon.

We at Bahama Drama extend our deepest love, strength, and prayers to Lola Doll, her family, and to the strong people of Guyana who are mourning and praying together. Caribbean sisters and brothers stand united with you during this dark hour.

Let it be known: the love she has poured into her community and her supporters is being returned tenfold, as prayers rise from across the region. We pray for healing, we pray for justice, and above all, we pray that Lola Doll pulls through this storm and rises again.

Stay strong, Lola. Stay strong, Guyana. The entire Caribbean is with you. 💛🙏🏾

Well done Mrs.

Well done Mrs. Shenique Miller News Anchor and professional journalist for the Bahamas

Bahama Drama was the first to break the story to the Bahamian public regarding the longstanding neglect of Long Island by successive governments of The Bahamas, including the Public Hospitals Authority (PHA).

Veteran journalist Mrs. Shenique Miller delivered a powerful critique, questioning why Long Island still does not have a functioning ambulance and why residents continue to receive excuse after excuse instead of real solutions.

Her firm stance highlights the urgent need for accountability and action. An outstanding job, Mrs. Miller, well said and well done.

🔥 Chaos in Nepal

When Gen Z Turns the Streets Upside Down 🔥
Bahama Drama Report – Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 | 11:45 PM (NPT / Nepal Time)

Good night Bahama Drama family,
What just went down in Nepal is something out of a movie, but trust me, this is real life and it’s shaking that nation to its core.

For days, the young people of Nepal, the so-called “Gen Z army”, have been rising up after the government pulled a slick move and shut down social media platforms under the excuse of “registration rules.” But the youth wasn’t having it. They turned their anger into fire, literally.

🚨 The Protest Eruption
In Kathmandu and across the country, the protests lit up like wildfire. Crowds stormed the streets, government buildings were torched, and even the Parliament compound faced flames. The government dropped curfews, shut down flights, and rolled out heavy police presence, but that didn’t slow the energy.

👩🏽‍🦳 Tragedy Hits Close to Power
One of the saddest reports to emerge, the wife of former Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal, Mrs. Rajyalaxmi Chitrakar, lost her life after protesters set their residence ablaze. This shows just how dangerous and raw the uprising has become, no one near power is safe.

👊 Ministers on the Run
Video clips went viral of politicians being dragged, chased, and beaten. Bishnu Prasad Paudel, the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, was caught in the chaos, stripped and humiliated as crowds vented years of frustration on his back.

🇳🇵 The Prime Minister Falls
K.P. Sharma Oli, the sitting Prime Minister, had no choice but to resign as the walls of his government crumbled around him. Rumors flew online about him being paraded naked in the streets, but so far no credible proof of that surfaced. What is true, though, is that his political career may have just gone up in flames with those burning houses.

⚡ The Bigger Picture
This uprising isn’t just about TikTok, Facebook, or Twitter being cut off, it’s about young people tired of corruption, tired of leaders holding them hostage to old politics, and tired of being silenced. They’re demanding accountability and change, and they’re not whispering it… they’re screaming it with fire and fists.

Bahama Drama Takeaway:
What’s happening in Nepal is a warning shot for governments worldwide: underestimate the power of a young, connected generation, and you might wake up one morning to find your palaces burning and your leaders running.

🔥 This is Bahama Drama, always bringing you the real raw stories the world is talking about.

The new ambulance that Minister Michael Darville dumped on Long Island last year. Reading a Facebook post from the victims son, they wanted to drive the vehicle, but the staff couldn’t find the keys.

Only in the Bahamas!

Had anyone or any staff member.driven that ambulance since it arrived on Long Island?

Does it actually go on patrol, or was it ever used in an emergency since last year???

*What a disgrace!*

Page Reply:

So why isn’t it being used? I need a video of this truck being driven around Long Island today or we’re going to stay on this topic!

People of Long Island deserve better from both representatives. No long talking and politician excuses find the damn keys to the thing and drive it today!
