The Machiavellian Playbook

The Machiavellian Playbook

Bahamian Politics:

In the high stakes world of Bahamian politics, survival is rarely about pure virtue. Political figures and candidates operate in an environment where perception, influence, and strategic alliances often outweigh transparency and truth. Many openly place Christian principles behind political pragmatism, reminding themselves that they are politicians, not priests, and that governing requires navigating a landscape that rewards cunning as much as character.

For decades, ambitious leaders in The Bahamas have relied on Machiavelli’s teachings in The Prince to survive and advance. Niccolò Machiavelli was clear: a successful ruler must understand the art of power, know when to use deception, and recognize that loyalty is often temporary and contingent. For Bahamian politicians, these lessons are not abstract theories, they are daily operational strategies.

To climb the political ladder, politicians must often outmaneuver rivals within their own parties. Publicly, they may project unity, integrity, and service to the people. Privately, however, the Machiavellian approach guides them to identify weaknesses in competitors, exploit opportunities, and sometimes manipulate narratives to maintain influence or eliminate threats. This is how political survival often looks: a delicate balance between appearing principled while engaging in calculated actions that secure one’s position.

Lying, deceiving, and bending the truth are not necessarily acts of malice; they are tools of survival in a system where opposition forces, party rivalries, and voter expectations collide. Those who fail to recognize these dynamics often find themselves marginalized, their careers stalled by rivals who understood the strategic value of perception and timing.

Studying Machiavelli allows politicians to see politics as a game of cause and effect, influence, and consequence. Leaders learn to tear down rivals subtly, using reputation, alliances, and policy leverage to gain advantage. The lesson is clear: in a political environment as competitive as The Bahamas, overt honesty can sometimes be a liability, while calculated manipulation can be a pathway to enduring power.

Ultimately, Bahamian politicians operate in a dual reality: publicly upholding morality and ethics, while privately navigating a strategic battlefield shaped by ambition, loyalty, and the lessons of history. Machiavelli’s principles serve as a guide, not a moral code, reminding leaders that in politics, survival and influence often require choices that faith and virtue alone cannot secure.

Footnote to the Bahamian Public:

This is why the public should view all political figures the same way by their very nature. They are politicians, not priests, and their role is survival, influence, and advancement, not moral guidance. Trust should always be measured accordingly, because their position inherently demands strategic action over spiritual or ethical purity.

Trust God only, not mankind…

A Prophetic Warning Spoken in the Spirit

A Prophetic Warning Spoken in the Spirit

To Sebas Sebastian Bastian,

What I say now, I speak only as a vision. Not from earthly knowledge, but from the stirring of the inner spirit. I see your name written in light upon a page of destiny, and beside it I see another name. One connected to politics, one who aligns themself with red colors and banners of the opposition party. In the spirit, the figure appears to me as hollow, as though their soul is veiled in darkness and untouched by light. This is only how the vision shows itself to me, not a statement of their earthly character.

In the vision, this person stands close to you, almost at your side, like a shadow walking beside a man meant to stand in open brightness. I do not speak this as accusation, but as a spiritual sight. A symbol of attachment.

I see this presence gripping at your garment, not out of love, but out of need. Spiritually, it appears like someone leaning onto you to rise, using your platform as a ladder rather than walking on their own foundation. A companionship that pulls more than it gives, draining the energy that God intends to multiply.

The Spirit shows me a choice. A moment where the Almighty says, Light must decide whether it will dwell alone or walk with shadow. Because when light mixes with shadow, it becomes gray, and gray is the place where destinies pause and crowns dim.

This message does not speak of human judgment. It is a trumpet call. A warning that some alignments, even political, even strategic, may spiritually cost more than they benefit. And I see angels holding back blessings, waiting and watching for a separation that proves the heart stands with God rather than with convenience.

To the one connected to Freetown, whose steps seek position and power, I see a spiritual storm surrounding. Not from human hands, but from heavens reckoning. And I say this not as condemnation, but as prophecy. No earthly alliance will shield what heaven has already placed into motion.

Sebas, the path before you can rise like a sunrise over an open sea. Clear, powerful, anointed. But to reach that horizon, you may first have to release what clings to your waist and rediscover what God intended for you to become on your own.

May you hear what is yours, ignore what is not, and stand where light stands, fully, without shadow.

Just as in the days before the flood, warnings were given long before rain touched the earth. Just as prophets spoke but were ignored until destruction arrived. So too do warnings come before a fall, and those who do not listen become cautionary tales written in time.

This evil person in this dream is using your success, your money and your contact as a bargaining tool for evil works in this country causing people to sell their souls for it as the devil does. They are a tool for Satan. Don’t be apart of their curse from God.

Sebas I honestly believe that you’re a good man, try keeping it that way by opening up your eyes, and seeing…
