In the quiet settlement of The Bluff on North Eleuthera, a routine Tuesday evening in mid-August 2026 became the starting point of one of the most closely watched missing-person cases in recent Bahamian memory. Katrina Kelly, a 34-year-old mother of two, assistant manager at the upscale Pink Sands Hotel on nearby Harbour Island, and operator of a local car rental business, stepped out of her home between 9 and 10 p.m. She told her 11-year-old daughter she was going to drop off friends and pick up food.
