Unsafe Roads throughout the Bahamas is shameful and embarrassing
I want to address a critical issue that deeply impacts our collective intelligence and safety.
Why are utility poles, trees, and walls placed dangerously close to public streets in the Bahamas, creating constant hazards for drivers?
Sensible governments around the world do not allow this. It is 1920s engineering.
We must stop letting our country take lazy shortcuts on infrastructure construction that is vital to the safety and success of our nation and its people.
Lives are being lost because of this incompetent, backward engineering.
Just this week, I saw several videos of accidents where victims struck these exact “objects of death,” all positioned less than a foot from the main road.
RIP to all.
