Good afternoon Bahama Drama please keep me anonymous. I enn work there no more so I don’t really feel no type of way because man dem cross me to you c?
Well anyway I gah tell y’all what’s been going down at a lot of gas stations with the pump attendant and the cashiers.
You see we don’t get paid much at any of the gas stations. And the only people that’s seeing any real money is be the family that owns the gas station or the head mangers.
They is stay cheating us out of our money though all kinds of ways using rules and regulations that we have to sign before we get hired to start working there.
So for years now I believe since the start of the pandemic probably I can’t say but I can only really speak for where I was working really. Me and every shift cashier was in on the scam.
What I would do when people would either go in to pay for their gas or just pay me at the pump for gas if they wanted more than $30 worth of gas
While I’m almost finished pumping the gas another attendant would start wiping off the front glass of the person car while starting big conversation with
the owner of the vehicle while I stop putting gas into the car usually $3 to $4 dollars less without the driver’s ever getting the chance to ever look back at the gas pump
because not only am I standing in the way to block the view of the amount put in but my coworker has the full attention of the driver. So after my coworker done do the back and front windows looking for tip now.
The driver now out of the conversation with my coworker now is thinking about how much to tip the person who just cleaned the windows
Never getting the chance to see that I didn’t give them all of their gas. At the end of the shift me the cashier and coworker split the pie usually no less than $400 dollars every shift.
I don’t feel no type of way about it because at least we didn’t pull out no gun and rob nobody.
