THUMBS UP SUPER VALUE!
Tonight while I was picking up a few items from Super Value in golden Gates plaza; as I walked towards the eggs isle I began to notice 2 guys holding the hands of the another guy.
At first I thought that they were playing until the guy that they was holding hands started fighting the 2 men
then I knew it was real. So me being the punk that I’ve always been
I see people going through it I melt like ice cream on a hot day.
I leave my stuff to find out what’s the problem hoping that I could probably solve the problem
without this issue going anymore out of hand.
So I asked the 2 men who were trying to reason with the guy as they were holding his arm’s what’s going on.
(I’m nosey aye?)
They said that the man was trying to steal $110 dollar’s or more of expensive foods.
As they told me they still was trying to reason with the guy but the guy was acting like a complete ass I must say as he was a grown ass man
So despite of this I asked how much is the total of all items I would pay for them just could you let him go?
Now keep in mind I only came to the store for 2 cans of cornbeef and bread and 1 dozen of eggs so I really didn’t come for this BS.
The worker’s ask did I know the man and I said yes he’s black right!
So yes I know him but I know despite his color I know that I would of help anyone who is in distress if I can but
The staff caught me off guard with the question as all eyes were on me as the question was ask.
MAN I HAD TO SAY SOMETHING TO GET ALL THESE EYEBALLS OFF OF ME! IT WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE FOR ME
I HAD TO SAY SOMETHING THEY ALL KILLING ME WITH THE EYES, I DON’T LIKE IT I’M NOT USED TO A BUNCH OF BLACK PEOPLE’S LOOKING AT ME ALL AT THE SAME TIME DAMN IT! IT’S SPOOKY!
I HAD TO GET THE HEAT OFF ME, BUT THEY ALL LAUGHT AT ME.
But I swear I’ll never do that shit again because I didn’t like the feeling of everybody looking at me all at once.
So next time I’m not helping nobody because y’all is be looking at people strange!
That was my night that’s why I didn’t post anyone’s story today. ->
(FAKE EXCUSE BUT TRYING IT ANYWAY!)
But anyway the employee told me that the matter had gone to far because homeboy was fighting the staff and police had already arrived.
I pleaded one more time on the man’s behalf but I got a sorry it’s in the police hands now.
But I must say the staff at Super Value really kept their behavior civilized and professional even as the man started to throwing punches
at the young guys who would usually eat your lunch on this road
these young guys restrained themselves well.
It turns out the guy wasn’t stealing to eat; he was stealing to sell off the very expensive item’s on the streets.
I brought my 2 cans of cornbeef and bread eggs and was done. That’s my monthly grocery amount because I can’t afford more then that unless someone needs food and I know it.
You know there are a lot of people in our country need our help in feeding themselves and most of the time their families.
Next time If your at the cashier and notice somebody short of money for their items help them
rather you can afford it or not.
You might even have to put some of your stuff back, but do it anyway, help that stranger because you know why?
Because you are what the grace of God looks like!
