Things that have to be said, and understood before it’s too late

NONE OF US CAN RISK ANOTHER FIVE YEARS OF THE CURRENT PLP

By: Michael Elijah Muhammad Clare

A VOTE FOR THE PLP in 2026 has become your own demise:

it will become your very own signature of approval for generations of Bahamian’s in the future to see in digital log books of votes cast after the voters registration department has logged everything the day you took part in giving your own country away to another nation in a gift basket, only because you were very easy to brain washed to believe that that’s what die hard PLPs must do to be real PLP’s.

This election has absolutely nothing to do with Haitian’s if you really look deeply. It was all along about Bahamian’s giving away their own country while wearing yellow and blue gear on May 12, 2026.

You can’t afford to vote for anyone running for the PLP this election because there’s way too much to lose, including the Bahamas…

While I like and respect Lincoln Bain and everything that they have done to contribute to the national conversation, they have truly opened up people’s eyes in such a short time.

I believe that anyone even if they only had a single eyeball to look out of, could see that, it’s time for the COI just this once, to stand down in this election, even better yet join forces with the FNM party to rid this country of this current Judas government, because they have the numbers.

COI votes matter and so do PLP voters.

But sometimes you have to save your own skin before saving that of others, and right now our nation is at those crossroads where all of our skin is on the line.

The Smuggling Of Migrant Bill 2025 is where Bahamians need to slow down and really pay attention.

Because this is not just about what the bill says today, it’s about what it can become tomorrow once again!

Laws are not locked in stone. They are changed, adjusted, and expanded all the time, especially after a government secures more time and power.

What looks controlled and limited now can be broadened later, piece by piece, right in front of the same people who once believed it would never go that far again!

And that is where the real concern should be for all supporters of this current PLP MP’s.

If a government is given another full term, with full confidence from the people, what is stopping future amendments?

What is stopping reinterpretations?

What is stopping policies from being reshaped in ways that were never clearly explained to the public in the beginning?

So the real question every Bahamian should be asking is not just:

“What does this bill say right now?”

But instead:

“What could this bill turn into once the same power is extended for five more years?”

Because once that door is opened, it is not easily closed.

And by the time people realize what has changed, it will already be written into law with your vote helping to make it possible.
