The sun released three massive coronal mass ejections (CMEs) yesterday. They are projected to reach Earth this Thursday and Friday.
The Impact:
They may cause minor technology disrup
tions and trigger a geomagnetic storm in the upper atmosphere, which can also produce beautiful auroras (Northern/Southern Lights).
