The Fabuloso product in your image was part of a recall issued in February 2023 due to the risk of contamination by bacteria like Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Pseudomonas fluorescens. These bacteria are commonly found in soil and water. Although they are not typically harmful to people with healthy immune systems, they can cause serious infections for individuals with weakened immune systems, those using external medical devices, or those with pre-existing lung conditions. The bacteria could enter the body through inhalation, eye contact, or breaks in the skin.
Fabuloso recalled nearly 5 million bottles of its multi-purpose cleaner, which included various scents like Lavender, Lemon, and Passion of Fruits. Customers who bought affected products were advised to stop using them immediately and contact the company for a refund or replacement. The recall mainly affected bottles manufactured between December 2022 and January 2023.
