Oh happy day

Oh happy day

In Matthew 13:24–30, Jesus tells the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares (or Weeds):

“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the tares also appeared…”

Later, in verses 36–43, Jesus explains the meaning:

The wheat represents the children of the Kingdom.

The tares (weeds) represent the children of the wicked one.

The enemy who sowed them is the devil.

The harvest is the end of the world.

The reapers are the angels.

At the end, He says the tares will be gathered and burned, and the righteous (the wheat) will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.

This parable speaks to judgment, separation, and divine justice symbolizing how God will distinguish between those who truly belong to Him and those who do not.
