My son hit me
Good morning Bahama Drama please keep me anonymous.
I never thought that I would see the day when my own child would strike me down.
My son and I was discussing what he plans to do with his life as we often do because lately my son seemed to be very distracted by his friends he be hanging out with and not trying to do nothing with his self so yesterday morning before I left the house for work I said to my son who was still in bed that he can’t continue to waste his life like this and that he needs to get up and try find a job because I can’t keep taking care of a grown ass man who doesn’t want to do nothing with his life.
My son just turned his head the other way as if he was telling me F-U and sucked his teeth. I then pulled the sheets off of him and before I could finnish saying who the hell are you sucking your teeth at my 20 year old son who I raised by myself with no help from he Pa jumped up and struck me in my eye saying the word bitch at the same time.
I fell on the floor screaming from the blow that I had just received from a child who I almost died in labor with for 17 hours who the doctors say wasn’t going to probably make it because he was so underweight as a premature but God had the final say.
Yesterday was the first and last time that my son will ever hit me because when he gets out of jail he can’t come back to my house.
I never thought that I would see the day when my own child physically hurt me. I just want to say to the mother’s out there. Try get a man in the household because if you are trying to raise a son the day will come when he will for some reason physically challenge you and your going to need the back up of another male to answer his call for possible violence.
A simple morning talk and you gonna go and strike your own Mommy? The bible says children obey your Mommy and Father so that you’re days maybe longer. Lord I hate to say this but my son ain’t got long on this earth someone gonna kill him.
I’m speaking a good word of advice don’t let these children run your house where you pay all the bills.
