Let him bleed out already
Let him bleed out already
Good afternoon, Bahama Drama. Keep me anonymous because I already know people will hate me for this, but honestly, I don’t care. My neighbor is dying after a bad car accident, and the hospital says he needs blood to survive. We have the same blood type, but I’m not donating. Not because of some deep principle or beliefsimply because I don’t want to.
Sure, we grew up together. Brentwood Elementary, Carol City, Miami. We shared classrooms, played games, and grew up side by side. But none of that matters now. I don’t feel anything for him or his family. They’re just faces in the background to me. Even if he wasn’t a MAGA Trump supporter, I still wouldn’t help him. Why should I? What do I gain from it?
And his family? Please. Yes, he has a wife who will be a widow if he dies. Yes, he has a 3-year-old daughter with special needs. But what does that have to do with me? His death will ruin their lives, but that’s their problem. I don’t care if they cry, if they’re broken, if his daughter grows up without a father. None of that matters to me. People die every day. Why should this man be any different? Let them suffer.
I see no reason to save someone who contributes nothing to my life. His politics make him even more unworthy in my eyes, but honestly, I wouldn’t lift a finger for him no matter what he believed. This world doesn’t owe anyone anything. If he dies, that’s just the way it is.
I follow all the news headlines and I enjoy the chaos and the stories. I even visited Nassau with my family once and had a good time. But this isn’t about the Bahamas. It’s about the simple fact that I do what I want, and I feel nothing for people who don’t matter to me. Call me heartless. Call me evil. I don’t care.
If his wife has to bury him and his daughter grows up asking why daddy isn’t around, so what? That’s their pain, not mine. This isn’t about politics anymore. It’s about the fact that I don’t care enough to help. Period. Life is cruel, and I’m just another part of that cruelty. Let him bleed out. It makes no difference to me.
