In my dreams

“I had the strangest dream last night,” said the man from the Bahamas. “I was standing on the beach, and I looked out at the ocean. But instead of seeing the islands, I saw nothing but water. All of the islands were underwater, and even Miami was underwater. There were a few destroyed skyscrapers sticking out of the water, but that was it. The ocean was calm, and the warm winds of the south were blowing. But it was all so desolate and empty. It was like Armageddon had happened.”

“That’s a terrifying dream,” said the other man. “But what do you think it means?”

“I don’t know,” said the first man. “But it made me think about the future of the Bahamas. We’re a small island nation, and we’re already feeling the effects of climate change. If things keep going the way they’re going, I could see a future where all of our islands are underwater. And if that happens, what will become of us?”

“I don’t know,” said the other man. “But I hope we find a way to prevent that from happening.”

The two men stood in silence for a moment, contemplating the future. Then, the first man said, “I think I saw something in my dream.”

“What was it?” asked the other man.

“I saw two UFOs,” said the first man. “They were speeding towards me, and they had beautiful bright blue lights. I don’t know what they meant, but I have a feeling they were here to help.”

“That’s an interesting dream,” said the other man. “But I don’t know what to make of it.”

“Neither do I,” said the first man. “But I’m going to keep thinking about it. Maybe it’s a message from the future.”

The two men finished their conversation, and then they went their separate ways. But the first man couldn’t stop thinking about his dream. He wondered what it meant, and he wondered if it was a warning about the future. He also wondered if the two UFOs were real, or if they were just figments of his imagination.

The next day, the first man went back to the beach. He stood on the same spot where he had had his dream, and he looked out at the ocean. He thought about the islands that were now underwater, and he thought about the future of the Bahamas. He also thought about the two UFOs, and he wondered if they would ever come back.

The man stood on the beach for a long time, just thinking. And as he thought, he began to feel a sense of hope. He knew that the future was uncertain, but he also knew that the people of the Bahamas were strong and resilient. He believed that they would find a way to survive, no matter what happened.

And as he stood there, the man looked up at the sky. And he saw two bright blue lights in the distance. The lights were getting closer, and they were moving towards him. The man smiled, and he knew that the future was going to be okay.
