I been in a relationship with my boyfriend for a year and I think he trying to propose to me.
The thing is I’m not ready for marriage.
What if he plans a grand gesture in front of people and I have to embarrass him by saying no?
We have never talked about marriage before and I am okay with that because I’m just not ready.
So what should I do?
I know y’all gone ask but I found the ring in his pants at the bottom of his drawer and I saw a reservation he made to a restaurant when I was in his phone.
I don’t even know how to feel we just started living together in November.
I don’t want to hurt his feelings but I don’t want to make a lifelong commitment knowing that it’s not what I want right now.
I really need advice cuz I don’t want to lose him.
What should I do?

He doesn’t need to know that you know he’s planning on proposing but he needs to know where you stand.
If you do see marriage in your future together or not let him know but make it clear so he understands how you feel about the topic.
