Good night Bahama Drama please keep me anonymous. Good night everyone I hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to ask the question.
What does a husband do when he’s being physically abused by his wife?
I’ve been married for the past 4 years and as long as I can remember my wife has been beating on me for nothing. We have kids so I’ve never hit her back plus I don’t believe in putting my hands on a woman unless I’m making love to her.
My parents raised me better than most so I know my role in the household as a man. And I do everything for my family. Not one day have my family needed for anything because I’ve been working
my hands down to the bone for them. But each and every time me and my wife has a disagreement she wants to get violent with me even over the smallest things.
Throughout the years I’ve had black eyes a few concussions from her hitting me over my head with things and once she even tried to light me on fire while I was still asleep.
I just don’t know what to do anymore because I want to save my marriage but the abuse is all so often. I have never called the police on her through none of this but I did once go to our pastor asking for advice
to only be laughed at. For some reason it’s starting to feel like I’m running out of road in our marriage. It’s not fear that I should always have to be walking on eggshells whenever she’s around
fearing that she’s going to hit me again. I only came on your page for advice and prayers that’s it. I just hope that I’m not going to be made fun of but actually listened to and
given some sound advice from husband’s who are going through the same things right now. Because abuse is no laughing matter regardless of who’s the aggressor.
