FNM supporters breaking silence
FNM supporters breaking silence
As a long standing member of this party I must say that I am exceedingly embarrassed at the behavior of my leader Michael Pintard yesterday. How do we expect to win with our leader acting so irrational and stupid. I watched the entire interview in the smokers room of the HOA. Everyone listened attentively to Pintard as he spoke for almost half hour. No one interrupted him he opened the floor for questions. Mr. Bain who also listened to Pintard respectfully for half hour said “I have a question.” Instead of letting him talk Pintard immediately began disrespectfully shouting him down just like he does in the house. I was actually impressed by Bain’s questions. “Why doesn’t Pintard do more?” He told Pintard that he can use his powers as the Chair of the Public Accounts Committee. Why doesn’t he file for judicial reviews. Pintard’s response was to ignore the relevant questions and start insulting Mr. Bain personally. This opened the door for Mr. Bain to respond in kind.
This was the same behavior that our leader displayed in the house against Glenys Hanna Martin. Ms. Hanna Martin made a pertinent comment to Pintard and he responded by bringing up the fact that her husband was found dead in a house and her name was called. This prompted Glenys and other MPs to respond forcing Pintard to withdraw his disgraceful comments. If Pintard was a real leader he would have simply responded: Thank you for your comment. We can always improve on our efforts. I will look to do more to stand up to this government.” That would have deescalated the situation. I watched how Mr. Bain handled a question on Clint Watson’s show where Clint was very annoyed at a commentor and he answered like a true leader and deescalated the situation.
Bain actually stood up in the house and defended the opposition. He went outside and did the same in front of the media. All he wanted to say to Pintard was use you powers and stand up. Why would Pintard attack someone who was standing up for him.
You all know that I was one of our leaders biggest supporters during convention so don’t come for me because of this comment. I am saying it because I care. But I sincerely do no feel like Pintard will make a good PM. His actions yesterday confirmed that for me. Just my humble opinion I think Lincoln came out of that exchange looking like a strong champion of the people and Pintard came out looking like a spiteful, petty child.
