12-Foot Fence Installed Around Farmers Hill Playground in Exuma
A new 12-foot safety fence is being installed around the playground in the Farmers Hill community. The park also hosted a children’s summer camp, with Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper sponsoring both the camp and the new fence.
The Background
Before the elections, May Bahama Drama raised concerns about the playground’s location and suggested either relocating it or installing a tall safety fence.
While DPM Cooper initially responded with videos and PR campaigns, he ultimately recognized that these concerns were strictly about child safety rather than politics.
A Positive Outcome
The 12-foot fence is now being built. Thank you to DPM Chester Cooper for taking action and securing the playground.
