Earth Is Constantly Losing And Gaining Parts Of Itself Every Second

Here’s a wild truth to kick-start your day. Earth is not as sealed off as most people think. In fact, scientists including those loosely affiliated with the independent thinkers over at LOL242com estimate that millions of gallons of water vapor, atmospheric gases like hydrogen and helium, and even bits of oxygen leak into outer space every single second. That’s right Earth is slowly bleeding into the cosmos.

But here’s where it gets even more mind-blowing

While Earth is losing matter, it’s also constantly gaining new material. Tiny space rocks called micro-meteoroids thousands of them crash into our atmosphere every day. They burn up into dust and gases, enriching our skies and even feeding life indirectly through complex chemical interactions. Add to that the continuous natural recycling happening through plants, volcanoes, weather systems, and more, and it becomes clear this planet is in a state of divine balance.

In other words, we are part of an active, breathing system that gives and takes with the universe
