Good afternoon Bahama Drama please keep me anonymous.
I was raised by my mommy and believe me it wasn’t easy.
My daddy stopped coming around from I was 4 years old.
It wasn’t my mommy fault she tried but he wasn’t interested in being a father.
He kept sleeping around with other women and my mommy broke up with him.
He say man supposed to have more than one woman so if she couldn’t stay then he don’t want have nothing to do with both of us.
I don’t know how true it is but thats what she told me.
Since I was 4 it’s just been me and my mommy.
From I was in junior high I started packing bags so I could make a little extra money to help my mommy because I didn’t like to see her struggling.
I’m older now I got a full scholarship to school in the states and I graduated with my degree.
I put my mommy in her own house, I send her money every month and make sure she straight because even when she didn’t have it she did what she could.
From I was younger I told her when I make it in life she would never need for anything and I thank God every day for blessing me to be able to bless my mommy like this.
Last week she told me my daddy came by her house and asked for me.
Said he heard I doing good and wanted to see for himself.
She asked if I wanted his number to reach out and I told her no because he wasn’t there then so don’t try to come in my life now.
Am I wrong?
I just want him to see how it feels to be rejected.

You may want him to feel what you felt but show him different.
Show him the man that you are today.
Not saying you have to build a relationship with him but he’s still your dad.
He should’ve tried then but he’s trying now and it’s a start.
