THE RICH KEEPS SHITTING ON THE POOR đź’©

ANONYMOUS WRITER ✍️

Are you poor and tired of being last in your own country while others grow richer every day?

I might as well say it, because it is the truth: criminal laws are often enforced in a way that falls heaviest on the poor rather than the rich. Look at the history of the Bahamas, even to this day. Who do you think the police are actually enforcing laws on? Just think about it.
Here are ten simple examples that show how the system can feel rigged depending on how much money you have:

First, roadblocks are designed in a way that keeps the hardship on the poor. The rich can always afford to keep their vehicles licensed and insured, so a roadblock is never an issue for them. If the system was designed with the idea that everyone was wealthy, roadblocks would not exist because they would be a waste of police time and resources. Instead, they end up taxing those who can least afford it.

Second, fixed court fines and bail money do not impact everyone equally. A five hundred dollar fine or a two thousand dollar bail bond is minor spare change to a rich person. To a struggling family, that same amount means choosing between putting food on the table, paying the electric bill, or sitting in jail waiting for help. Fines without regard to income create very different consequences for different people.

Third, utility disconnections and high reconnection fees hit lower-income households hardest. When a struggling family falls behind on a water or power bill, service is cut off quickly, and added fees make it even harder to catch up. Meanwhile, large commercial accounts or major developments often negotiate extended payment plans and custom terms that regular consumers never receive.

Fourth, access to top-tier legal representation creates two distinct paths through the court system. A person with limited funds must rely on overworked public defenders who have limited time for each file. Someone with wealth can hire an entire team of private lawyers to examine every technical detail and file pre-trial motions, completely changing how their case moves through the legal process.

Fifth, bank fees and account maintenance charges cost you more when you have less. High-net-worth clients receive waived fees, private advisors, and perks because of their high balances. Lower-income account holders who live paycheck to paycheck are often charged monthly maintenance fees or low-balance penalties, slowly reducing the little savings they have.

Sixth, Crown Land distribution and property access are rarely equal. Regular citizens can submit applications for land and wait decades without hearing a word back. At the same time, large foreign investors and connected developers frequently receive approvals, long-term leases, or concessions for major projects in a fraction of the time.

Seventh, tax breaks favored for large investors contrast sharply with daily consumption taxes paid by residents. Major real estate developers often receive multi-year tax exemptions and duty-free import waivers on building materials. Average citizens, however, pay Value Added Tax on almost every single item they buy at the store every single day, regardless of their income level.

Eighth, the enforcement of building codes and public access rules differs depending on where you look. Unapproved structures built by residents in lower-income communities face quick demolition orders from local authorities. On the other hand, wealthy waterfront landowners who build walls over public beach accesses or clear coastal vegetation often face prolonged discussions or minimal fines before anything is done.

Ninth, minor drug charges carry long-lasting consequences for the working class. A young person caught with a small amount of a controlled substance can end up with a criminal record that restricts their job options, banking access, and travel opportunities for life. Wealthier individuals caught in similar situations are far more likely to secure diversion programs, private treatment options, or informal warnings.

Tenth, the difference between public transport and private infrastructure highlights the daily divide. The working class relies on public buses on routes that may lack shelters or frequent schedules, navigating flooded or damaged roads. The wealthy travel in private, air-conditioned transport straight into gated communities built to separate their residents from the infrastructure problems faced by the rest of the public.

Wake Up, Bahamas: Are We Being Programmed by the Weekly News Cycle?

Wake Up, Bahamas: Are We Being Programmed by the Weekly News Cycle?

Have you ever noticed something strange about the daily news?

Pick up the Monday newspaper, scroll through local social media, or tune into the evening broadcast. Every week, it seems like every single media house is pushing the exact same narrative about violent crime. Then, that same story gets rehashed for two straight weeks, quietly disappears, and then—like clockwork—gets recycled and printed all over again next month.

If it feels like you are watching a movie on repeat, you aren’t imagining things. You are watching a classic playbook of media manipulation in real time.

Here is what is actually happening behind the headlines—and why every Bahamian needs to recognize these tactics.

1. Media “Priming” (Setting the Trap)
What it means: Brainwashing through repetition.

When news outlets repeatedly blast the same violent crime stories day after day, they are priming your brain. The goal isn’t just to report the facts; it’s to force a single issue to the very top of your mind. By keeping you constantly focused on violence, the media controls how you judge the state of the country, how safe you feel walking out your front door, and what you demand from the government.

2. Agenda-Setting (Telling You What to Think About)

What it means: Controlling the national conversation.

Media executives know that most people don’t have time to research every issue facing The Bahamas. Through Agenda-Setting, editors decide what matters and what gets buried. By placing recycled crime stories on the front page every single Monday, they signal: “Forget everything else—this is the only thing that matters in The Bahamas right now.

” Meanwhile, critical issues like your personal financial situation, your personal health, or education get pushed to the back pages or not even considered a topic of print.

What this does to the publics individual minds. It paints a picture of:

3. “Mean World Syndrome” (Fear-Based Control)

What it means: Making the world look scarier than it is.

Communications experts call this Cultivation Theory. When you are constantly fed a heavy diet of violence—even if it’s the same old stories being recycled—your brain starts to believe that crime is escalating out of control everywhere, all the time. This creates Mean World Syndrome: a state of constant anxiety where citizens become fearful, paranoid, and far more willing to accept extreme measures just to feel safe.

4. “Churnalism” (Lazy Newsrooms & High Profits)

What it means: Recycling cheap content for easy clicks.

Not every tactic is a deep conspiracy—sometimes it’s just pure greed and laziness. Investigating real stories takes time, money, and hard work. Crime news, on the other hand, is cheap to produce, gets quick reactions, and drives massive social media engagement.

Newsrooms take old police reports, repackage the same sensationalized angles, and churn them back out on a weekly schedule because fear sells papers and gets video views.
Why Should Bahamians Care?

When a public is constantly primed with fear and fed a cycle of recycled panic, two things happen:

A:) You lose your peace of mind. You live in fear even when your immediate community is quiet.

B:) You become easy to manipulate. A fearful population is quick to support harsh policies, higher spending, or political moves without asking the tough questions.

The next time you see the exact same crime story recycled across local newspapers, TV, and Facebook pages, step back and ask yourself: Is this breaking news, or am I just being primed?

Don’t let recycled headlines run your mind.

Question the timing, spot the cycle, and demand better, more honest reporting for The Bahamas news outlets!

Standing Strong đź‘‘ against a wicked army

Standing Strong đź‘‘ against a wicked army

By: Michael Elijah Muhammad Clare

Yesterday, those who set themselves against me in Nassau failed. What was intended for my destruction was rendered powerless, for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are steadfast toward Him.

Know that I am steps ahead of any evil decree or scheme aimed at my demise. Baruch Hashem—Blessed be the Name—for my protection is rooted in the Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. No matter how many physical, spiritual or earthly forces assemble against me in high or low places, righteousness and divine judgment will prevail, and those who walk in wickedness shall inherit their own darkness.

When King David faced fierce adversaries, HaShem—the God of Israel, blessed be He—arose as his shield, his fortress, and his deliverer out of all his afflictions. That same Eternal God, sovereign over all creation, surrounds and preserves me today.

You will not break my spirit, for He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and through His deliverance, I will overcome.

For the full story, visit:

3 fellas this Wednesday in Exuma Farmer’s Hill Beach. The spirit of God that lives inside of me saw the plan at play. I wouldn’t have ever gotten into that little van. So if I go missing or is harmed, I want the whole world to know whose behind it.

Haitian’s will be safe in Haiti after this late August US says

Haitian’s will be safe in Haiti after this late August US says

The USA said that they are going to Barbeque Barbecue in late August 2026.

Stay tuned. The US military don’t play games!

Under the Trump administration they don’t send empty threats. They coming!

I’m betting Drone strikes. Some people believe that it will be a message strike. Satellites been tracking him for over 4 months now, so they know where he is 24/7 day and night.

PS:

A LOT OF HAITIAN’S BELIEVE THAT BARBEQUE HAS AN AMERICAN PASSPORT, SO HE’S AMERICAN!
