Dan, you know exactly who this is. I ain’t here to call you out, just to remind you of what you walk out on.
When I met you, you already had two kids, and I step in like a real woman supposed to. I love them, care for them, treat them like my own, never once make them feel like they was anything less than mine. I play the mother role without hesitation, and I did it from my heart. But still, that ain’t good enough for you.
The moment that car accident take my eye, everything change. Suddenly, I wasn’t the woman you wanted anymore. You look at me different. You pull away. Then one day, you just leave. Said you “couldn’t handle it.” But let’s be real you ain’t want to handle it. You ain’t want to stand beside me the way I stood beside you and them kids.
So I leave too. Not just you, not just the Bahamas, but everything I thought was mine. I move to Canada with nothing but heartbreak and determination. And guess what? I rise. I build my real estate empire from the ground up. Now, I worth millions. I got a husband who love me for who I am, not just how I look. I ain’t have no kids, but I have peace, success, and a love that ain’t conditional.
This what happen when you walk out on somebody when they down. You ain’t just leave me you left the best thing you ever had. C’est la vie, mon cher. And that’s something you gon’ have to live with.
