We the student teachers and nursing majors are suffering at the hands of University of The Bahamas. Our stipend checks that we work hard for is sitting up catching dust and they refuse to give it out to us. How much longer must we be mistreated by our school. Students are at a point where we must either starve or buy materials and books for classes in order not to fail. Please post this story so we can get some kind of answer because no one cares about the students and we are the future of the country. This is why so many nurses and teachers leave after graduation and use their talents abroad we’re always mistreated.

Ok I have 2daughters for this guy we both are living together now I dont have a job atm because during the pandemic back n 2020 I got laid off from sandals so him one has a job and paying the Bill’s and kids school fees.
After getting laid of I was given good amount of cash so instead of putting in all the bank I went and learn a teade where I can help bring in cash.
Now me and this guy was dating for quite some years so every now and then I would say marvin when are we getting married his response would be ohh there’s no money here to get married or he would say orrr wedding is very expensive or he cant marry me because I have a anger problem hes afraid his wife will walk out on him but he’s always finding monies to purchase alcohol for him and his coworkers.

hes very selfish when he’s ready and all for him self I am tired asking him when are we getting married I stopped partying from last year but I am working on my alcohol and anger problem nobody is perfect

Good morning Bahama Drama please keep me anonymous. I’ve been in this abusive marriage for going on 9 years now and recently the judge gave me and my now husband a court date in my divorce case.
My husband’s got 3 outside children that he made with other women in our marriage 2 of which I had to buss ass before.
He claims that I was always the one that was doing all of the cheating but can’t seem to be able to back it up with any proof at all.
And like I told him before if I wanted to cheat on him I would have done it a long time ago when we weren’t even married because a lot of guys was running me down trying to get my attention back then so I don’t know where he is coming from with that.
But last night when I was sleeping naked in our bed as I’ve always done. My soon to be x husband started grinding me without my consent or knowledge because I was still sleeping when he put his ting ting in my bling bling.
When I became aware that it was not my now boyfriend grinding me in my dream that I was having of the last time he grind me good I told my husband to stop it.
And he would not un-grip my hips from the back no matter how forcefully I pushed my hand backwards on his stomach telling him to stop it
He didn’t stop until he ejaculated inside of me saying he want another baby from me before I leave him breathing really hard. I then got out of the bed very angry about to call the police on him for taking my bread from me without my consent or that of my now boyfriend.
I can’t even sleep naked next to what’s soon to be my ex-husband without getting raped what a crime shame. My husband raping me just because I don’t want to have sex with him before our divorce is final.
My boyfriend never rape me before but my own husband raped me last night they should put him under the jail in Foxhill because he is now a hard core rapist for taking my crabby.
I’m so glad that the Bahamas justice system is following everything that the American justice system is doing including same sex marriage which hopefully next. Because my brother unfortunately had to go to Atlanta to get married to his long time boyfriend of 5 years when he could have done it in his own country the Bahamas.
And just like the good commissioner said rape is rape no matter who does it husband or not. Justice must be done equally for all people in our Bahama land.
