Bahama Drama please don’t post my name

I been with my boyfriend for 10 years now and I feel so stuck and ashamed right now I don’t even know who to talk to

Couple weeks ago we was at my mummy house and she asked him to write something in her birthday card. When he pass the card back to her I see mummy face change. She didn’t say nothing but I could tell she was shocked

When we reach home I ask him what happened. He say ā€œoh I don’t write cursive baby I only write in printā€

I laugh cause I thought he was joking. But he was dead serious. I say ā€œwait you mean you can’t write in cursive at all?ā€ He say no and he ain’t interested in learning either

Bahama Drama I feel embarrassed to even say this. How I with this man for 10 years and didn’t know this? I write love notes in cursive all the time and he just pretend like he reading them. I start thinking back to all the times I write him letters and he just smile and kiss me but never really say nothing about the words

So I try help him. I go buy a cursive writing book from the book store and bring it home all excited like ā€œbaby this could be fun let’s practice togetherā€

You know what this man tell me? ā€œI don’t need to learn that, cursive is outdated and nobody use it no moreā€

I felt like crying. It ain’t even about cursive anymore. It’s the attitude. Like he don’t even want to try for me.

How I gon take him back around my family now? My daddy old school and he believe a man should know how to sign his name properly and write like he been to school.

I love this man but I starting to question if we really compatible anymore. If you could ignore something so simple just cause it ain’t important to you, what else you willing to ignore?

Y’all think I making a big deal outta this? Or should I be concerned that my man of 10 years refuse to learn something just to meet me halfway?

I feel like I stuck with a sweet man who don’t want to grow. And it hurting me bad.

Please post this and let me read the comments. Maybe someone been through this too

A simple truth:

A simple truth:

You don’t have to be Jesus to be chosen. You don’t have to be divine to be used by the divine. But when lightning bows, the stars move, angels kneel, and death lets go of your body, you’re not ordinary.

And Heaven knows your name.

Donald Trump’s Trade War Might Just Save Small Nations Like Ours…

Donald Trump’s Trade War Might Just Save Small Nations Like Ours Here’s Why

By Bahama Drama

For years, global trade has worked like a rigged casino the house always wins. Big countries set the rules, smaller countries obey, and the profits get vacuumed into the hands of rich corporations while we pay the price in rising costs and vanishing opportunity.

But what if someone walked into that casino, flipped the table, and said:
ā€œLet’s deal fair or not at allā€?

That someone was Donald Trump.

And whether you agree with his style or not, his bold stance against the World Trade Organization (WTO) and traditional trade agreements may be exactly what smaller countries like The Bahamas need to finally get a seat at the table.

What Trump Is Really Doing

Let’s cut through the headlines and break it down like it’s domino night on a Bahamian porch.

Trump believes the WTO favors globalist giants allowing countries like China to bend the rules, while small and even powerful nations like the U.S. get short-changed.

So what did he do?

– He raised tariffs to push countries back to the negotiating table
– He questioned the WTO’s authority, exposing its double standards
– He said America will no longer play a losing game and invited others to do the same

That’s not chaos. That’s leverage.

Why Should We in the Caribbean Care?

Here’s why Trump’s ā€œAmerica Firstā€ doesn’t mean ā€œCaribbean Last.ā€ It could mean Caribbean leverage.

1. A broken WTO helps us reset the game
The WTO is slow, complicated, and historically built for the benefit of big industrial countries. Trump forcing a breakdown might be the only way the system gets rebuilt with small nations like ours finally at the table.

2. Bilateral deals are the future
Trump wants to deal country-to-country, not through bloated international agreements. That opens the door for places like The Bahamas to make custom trade deals that actually work for us not just Europe or China.

3. Fairer trade means stronger tourism
If the system changes to benefit smaller players, we may finally see cheaper imports, better export opportunities, and less red tape which means better business, lower hotel costs, and more growth in tourism.

4. It’s time we stop being the underdogs
Trump’s message isn’t about isolation. It’s about negotiating with strength. And if America can demand better deals, so can we.

The Truth No One Wants to Say

For decades, we’ve been told that globalism is good for everyone. But who really benefited? Not the fisherman in Andros. Not the fruit vendor in Nassau. Not the small Bahamian trying to start a business with high import costs and no foreign partners.

Trump’s hard-hitting trade style may feel brutal to some, but it’s forcing the world to rethink a system that’s never been fair to smaller countries. That’s the truth the global media rarely wants to admit.

So What Happens Next?

Countries are now free to negotiate trade agreements that work for them.
Smaller economies can rise if we seize the opportunity.
We are no longer stuck under the thumb of a bloated world system.

It’s not about loving or hating Trump. It’s about understanding the opportunity that disruption brings.

Final Thoughts

Donald Trump isn’t wrecking the world trade system.
He’s challenging it.

And if Caribbean leaders are smart, they’ll use this moment to push for better trade, better terms, and better futures for their people.

We’ve been waiting for change.
This might just be it.

I remember the Nationalist Activist the late great KCX Kendal Colebroke used to be making videos warning the Bahamas and its politicians about joining the WTO system and the European Union. I think that eventually one of the 2 major big political parties in our country ended up still signing The Bahamas on in the darkness of the public’s watchful eyes in a secret signing still though.

RIP KCX, you tried to warn us!
