We will back Dr. Sands

Bahama Drama just wants to let everyone know that wherever Dr. Sands decides to run, our page is 100% behind him. We’re disclosing this publicly for the sake of transparency.

In the same spirit, we’re also backing Fredrick Mitchell for Fox Hill. Why? Because he’s a real, straightforward person. I met him once during a tough time in my life, and he treated me with kindness and respect, even though he held a position of power.

Back in 2015, I was broke, grinding as a door-to-door salesman for my own struggling computer business. I was out in the heat, walking neighborhood to neighborhood, trying to make rent and feed my kids. I couldn’t find a job, but I wasn’t about to give up and feel sorry for myself, I built a hustle. I had computer repair skills, so I put them to work.

One day, while I was making my rounds, Fredrick Mitchell pulled up in his car. It was regular working hours, so most people weren’t home. He looked at me and asked, “What are you doing?”

At first, I was annoyed. I replied, “What do you mean what am I doing?”

But then he calmly asked, “What kind of business are you promoting?”

I cooled down and explained my business. He nodded and said, “It’s going to be kind of hard to reach most people around this time, they’re all more than likely at work.” Then he asked if I had a card. I didn’t, because I had given them all out the day before.

He simply said, “Well, good luck. I hope things work out for you.”

That stuck with me. I’ll never forget those words. No cameras. No media. Just a kind gesture from someone who didn’t have to say anything at all. At a time when I was exhausted, sweaty, and dead broke, he showed real compassion.

I never contacted him again after that, but I knew exactly who he was. That moment showed me his true character. Fredrick Mitchell is a genuine, compassionate, grassroots Bahamian man.

Just a flashback that keeps me rooted in truth.

As for Sands… well, that’s a whole other personal story…

Hey The Bahamas Times, Bahamas Press, and BP PRESS!

Why does it seem like the Davis Administration’s “New Day” PLP is turning our democracy into a celebrity contest?

Every election chosen candidate is now looking like a casting call for “Bahamas Got Talent” instead of a serious leadership lineup! 🎤📸

Are we electing leaders or influencers? 👀

Is this a government serious about leadership or a game show?

Or maybe… we’re just overthinking things. 🤔

Straight up Bahama Drama questions that might ruffle a few feathers!

Hey Bahama Drama this is how everything started with Lincoln and Michael Pintard the other day.

For those who think Lincoln Bain went after Pintard this video proves that it was Pintard who came out of the HOA and saw Lincoln talking to these people and came over to him. Pintard was looking for trouble.

This video shows that Lincoln Bain was at the road talking to civil servants including the lady with an autistic child. Bain had stopped talking for just a sec when Pintard came out of the HOA and came to where Bain was talking to the woman.

Both men shock hands. Bain let Pintard speak to the woman freely without interruption until Pintard disrespected the women. Bain told Pintard to not disrespect a Bahamian woman like that.

Pintard responded with personal attacks. Bain eventually responded in kind. The God for videos.

I applaud Bain for standing up for those women. These politicians too stink. Think they can talk to people like dogs.

Well Michael Pintard should do the honorable thing and apologize to Lincoln Bain simple as that. Hell both named Michael lol 🤣😂🤣
