They’re Okay… But How Did They Get Down There?

Two men rescued from a mysterious shaft — and everyone’s asking the same question

In a shocking moment that’s left many scratching their heads, two men were discovered at the bottom of what appeared to be a narrow shaft or possibly an old water well. No one is quite sure how they ended up down there — but thankfully, they’re okay.

Eyewitnesses say it took several good Samaritans working together to safely rescue the pair. Videos show the dramatic moment ropes were lowered, and neighbors and bystanders banded together to pull the men out one at a time.

There was visible water inside the shaft, adding to the danger and confusion. Was it an old drainage system? A collapsed manhole? A forgotten well? The exact nature of the structure is still unclear.

As for the two men, they were understandably shaken up but are said to be in good condition with only minor injuries. Emergency services have not yet released a full report, but locals are calling the rescue a miracle — and a reminder to always watch where you step.
